No Winner Between the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa.

The second round of qualifiers continues, with teams vying for a spot in the tournament. However, the match between the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa ended without a winner.

The first leg of the 2026 Women’s AFCON qualifiers concluded in a 1-1 draw.

In this match, the Leopards Women and Banyana Banyana both scored. South Africa took the lead when Mohlakoana scored in the 42nd minute. However, the DRC equalized just before halftime with a goal from Ruth Kipoyi in the 46th minute.

This match, which was highly anticipated, has added to both teams’ efforts to qualify for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
