The Senegal national team is getting ready to strengthen its position in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

As a key contender for this global event, Senegal can rely on Ismaïla Sarr, who is seen as one of their rising stars.

This season, he has shown strong performances with Crystal Palace, marking a successful return after his injury in September.

Nampalys Mendy (Watford), Ilay Camara (Anderlecht), and Mamadou Camara (RS Berkane) have also returned to the Senegal national team based on their club performances.

However, the team has not yet secured a spot. Poor results against South Sudan on October 10 and Mauritania on October 14 could threaten their chances of qualifying for the World Cup.
