Four countries have qualified.

The African continent experienced excitement during the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches. On the ninth matchday, some unexpected results emerged. Algeria and Egypt are now added to Morocco and Tunisia as the African nations qualified for the 2026 World Cup, leaving five spots still available as the final day approaches this Sunday. Ghana, Senegal, Benin, and Cape Verde are currently in strong positions. Meanwhile, Ivory Coast (23 points) will compete against Gabon (22 points) for a place.
