The Chilean striker is heading back to Spain.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano on social media platform X, 36-year-old forward Alexis Sánchez is set to join Spanish club Sevilla.

Reports say Sánchez will sign a one-year deal, with the transfer fee to be announced later. He is currently preparing for a medical examination, after which all documentation will be completed.

Sánchez is familiar with La Liga, having played for Barcelona from 2011 to 2014. During that time, he made 141 appearances, scored 46 goals, and provided 38 assists, becoming a key player for the team.

At present, Sánchez plays for Italian club Udinese, having joined from Inter last summer as a free agent.
