A unique situation has arisen in sports history.
Guillermo Ochoa has had a successful career and is not yet considering retirement. Recently, he nearly signed with a new club.
Details: As reported by geglobo, the Mexican goalkeeper went to Spanish club Burgos to finalize a contract. Just before signing, Ochoa asked to discuss one clause of the contract and stepped out for coffee. He did not return and became unreachable.
His last club was AFC in Liga Portugal, where he played 23 matches as the starting goalkeeper.
Reminder: Previously, we noted that Guillermo Ochoa has regained his position as the primary goalkeeper for the Mexico national team. Head coach Javier Aguirre has chosen him as the main player for the upcoming 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
