Galatasaray captain Mauro Icardi is preparing for the upcoming matches as the season approaches. He shared a new training photo on his Instagram, showing his workout routine.
The image was taken at Galatasaray’s training ground, and Icardi is seen with a band just below his right knee, likely to protect his previous injury.
Mauro missed nearly the entire last season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his knee, which he suffered last November. He returned to the field only in late August this year.
Additionally, Icardi has reportedly decided to remove all reminders of his ex-wife from his life. He altered a tattoo that was once dedicated to Wanda Nara, changing it into a new design featuring a wolf’s head. The striker separated from Nara last summer and is now in a relationship with China Suárez.
