Newell’s has received a FIFA transfer ban, preventing the club from signing players for the next three transfer windows. This ban is due to a complaint from Uruguay’s Liverpool over an unpaid fee concerning striker Juan Ignacio Ramírez, who currently plays for Sport Recife.
The Rosario club stated that the issue originated from a banking error during the international transfer and expressed optimism about resolving it without impacting the club’s future.
