The situation is quite strange.

As a result, the team did not achieve their goal.

Details: According to The Times, an unfortunate event occurred with the Manchester team before the Women’s Champions League match against Norway’s Brann.

Reports suggest that the team experienced a theft before leaving the airport, but the exact timing is unclear. Some players lost their boots and had to find replacements upon reaching Norway:

“A bag with some of our players’ boots went missing during the flight to Bergen. We are looking into how this happened. We managed to get new boots of the correct brand and size for all affected players,” said a representative from Manchester United.

In the end, this did not help the team win, as they lost 1-0 after conceding in the 77th minute. The return match is scheduled for September 18 in England.
