Details: As noted by Opta, Slot is the first manager in 14 years to receive the Premier League Manager of the Month honor in the opening month of the season right after winning the title. The last manager to do so was Sir Alex Ferguson, who was named August manager in the 2011-12 season after winning the 2010-11 title.
