Galatasaray player Mauro Icardi shows support for his teammates across different sports. Recently, the basketball team helped Turkey reach the EuroBasket final, and Icardi congratulated them on Instagram.
He shared a post from Galatasaray’s official account, adding his own message: “Keep it up, guys! We are proud of you,” along with a Turkish flag emoji.
Turkey’s basketball team secured its place in the EuroBasket final by defeating Greece, marking their first appearance in the championship since 2001. They will face Germany in the final.
Mauro Icardi joined Galatasaray in 2023 and was named team captain at the start of the season. He missed most of the previous season due to a serious injury but has since recovered and is now making substitute appearances.
