The Scots are considering a comeback scenario.

The season has not started well for Scottish team Rangers, leading to management’s decision to part ways with their head coach due to rising discontent. They are now looking for a replacement.

Details: As reported by Sky Sports, Rangers plan to discuss a return with former manager Steven Gerrard, a club legend. While nothing is confirmed yet, the club is seriously considering his comeback.

Under Gerrard’s management, Rangers won their last Scottish Premiership title, breaking Celtic’s nine-year championship streak in the 2020/21 season. Since then, Rangers have not won the title again.

Ex-manager Russell Martin led the team for just 17 matches, spending 123 days in charge. During his tenure, Rangers recorded five wins, six draws, and six losses across all competitions.

Currently, Rangers are eighth in the standings, with only eight points after seven games, falling 11 points behind the leaders.

Reminder: The Scottish club is once again in the news — after a draw with Falkirk, fans protested outside the stadium, blocking the team bus.
