Arsenal defender William Saliba has spoken about his decision to extend his contract with the club.

“I wanted to stay at Arsenal because I feel at home here. I wanted to settle here for the long term. I don’t have any trophies yet, but they will definitely come because we have a good coach and a strong team. I can’t leave the club without giving anything back. My goal is to stay and win everything,” Saliba was quoted as saying by Goal.

Arsenal is currently at the top of the Premier League table with 16 points from seven matches. The team’s next game is on October 18 against Fulham.
