Cape Town Spurs CEO Alexi Efstathiou has confirmed the financial disagreement he had with Kaizer Chiefs.

Before the court battle that led to Asanele Velebayi joining Chiefs as a free agent, Efstathiou explained why the 22-year-old winger wasn’t sold to Amakhosi.

“We wanted R10 million for Asanele [Velebayi], but they offered R4 million,” Efstathiou said on the Marawa Sports Worldwide show.
