Switzerland secured its spot in the next World Cup after a 1-1 draw with Kosovo on Tuesday night. Despite the draw in Pristina, the Swiss team finished first in Group B with 14 points, remaining unbeaten. This result was enough for them to qualify directly for the tournament.

Kosovo finished second in the group with 11 points and will now seek World Cup qualification through the European playoffs scheduled for March.
Early in the second half, Ruben Vargas put Switzerland ahead, scoring from a good pass by Djibril Sow. However, Kosovo did not give up. Florent Muslija scored an excellent goal in the 74th minute to make it 1-1. Kosovo pushed hard for a winning goal in the final minutes, but the Swiss defense remained strong.
