Malappuram Football Club has appointed coach Shareef Khan as the team’s new Technical Advisor. With extensive experience as both a player and a coach, Khan will be responsible for strengthening the club’s overall football operations. A native of Valanchery, Malappuram, he holds an AFC A coaching license. As the technical advisor, Shareef Khan will play a key part in player development and shaping the team’s training strategies.
Khan started his coaching journey in 2015 and has previously coached the men’s, women’s, and reserve teams for Gokulam Kerala FC. His coaching career also includes time with other prominent clubs such as Kerala United FC, the Kerala Blasters women’s team, and Sethu FC. While with Gokulam Kerala, he achieved significant success, winning the Indian Women’s League in the 2018–19 season and the I-League in the 2020–21 season.
