The U19 team of Paris Saint-Germain has achieved three victories in the Youth League. Ahead of the senior match this Wednesday evening, Jean-François Vulliez’s players defeated Tottenham’s youth team 5-2, thanks in large part to the impressive duo of Pierre Mounguengue and Adam Ayari. The Parisians did most of the damage in the first half, scoring three goals in just nine minutes. Rayan Abo El Nay opened the scoring in the 21st minute, followed by goals from Noah Nsoki in the 26th minute and Pierre Mounguengue in the 30th minute.
The visitors did respond before and after halftime, with a goal from striker Oliver Irow in the 33rd minute, followed by a strike from central defender James Rowswell in the 55th minute. Adam Ayari quickly answered with two goals of his own in the 67th and 71st minutes, having assisted Rayan Abo El Nay for the first Parisian goal. No further goals were scored after that, but it is worth noting the injury exits of both full-backs for the capital club, David Boly and Thomas Cordier. With this result, PSG moves ahead of their opponents in the standings, now sitting 9th with 10 points, while the Spurs are in 11th place, just one point behind.
