However, Vitinha completed his hat-trick from a penalty in the 76th minute to seal the victory for PSG. In the final minutes, Lucas Hernandez received a red card for a foul on Xavi Simons, but it did not affect the outcome. Currently, PSG is second in the Champions League table, while Tottenham is in 16th place.
In another match, Atletico Madrid beat Inter Milan 2-1, handing Inter their first defeat of the Champions League season. Playing at home, the Spanish team took the lead in the ninth minute through Julian Alvarez. Inter Milan found an equalizer in the second half when Zielinski scored in the 54th minute. The match seemed headed for a draw, but in the 93rd minute of injury time, Jose Gimenez scored the winning goal for Atletico from a Griezmann assist. In the current Champions League standings, Inter is in fourth place, with Atletico in ninth, three points behind.
