Thiago Silva’s Son Signs Professional Contract with Chelsea

The sons of Thiago Silva are clearly on track to follow in their father’s footsteps. Last October, Iago Silva, 14, was called up for the England U15 team. Now, it’s his older brother Isago, 17, who has made headlines by signing his first professional contract with Chelsea.

At 17 years old, he has been with the Blues since joining before the U13 season. Since then, he has developed into a versatile and dependable defender, excelling as both a left-back and a center-back. During the 2024/25 season, while playing for the U16 team, Isago made his U18 debut against Leicester City. He also participated in an exciting match that ended in a 3-3 draw against Sheffield United in the U18 Premier League Cup and played three games in our U17 Premier League Cup campaign.
