Vincent Kompany Addresses Manchester City Transfer Rumors

Bayern Munich’s current coach, Vincent Kompany, is having a remarkable season. After winning the championship last year, the 39-year-old Belgian now sees his team leading the league by eight points over RB Leipzig. A former Manchester City player from 2008 to 2019, he is also viewed as a potential successor to Pep Guardiola. When asked about a future move to the English club, Kompany dismissed the possibility in the short term.

“He has already mentioned it in press conferences. But he has been saying for two years that this will be his last year. I’ve been answering this question for two years now. Regardless of whether I’m relegated or at Bayern, this question comes up repeatedly. It will come up again, of course. But it shouldn’t affect anyone.
