“I accept and understand the club’s decision to suspend me for this weekend. I’m 22 years old, I’ve made mistakes, and I realize I have much to learn. I need to grow from this experience. I know I must improve, both on and off the field, to represent the club appropriately. This is important to me. I want to clarify that I never intended to hurt anyone. Since joining at 19, I have always given my all for Strasbourg. I am proud to play for Racing and to wear the captain’s armband. Everyone knows it hasn’t been easy for me here at the start. It was a significant challenge to succeed at Strasbourg, but I have worked hard every day to achieve it. Last weekend, when I stepped onto the field, it was the greatest emotion I’ve felt as a player for Strasbourg. The cheers when I entered, the children encouraging me during warm-up… it really touched me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I had a long conversation with President Marc Keller. We spoke honestly, and I appreciate his advice. He knows how much I love this club and how hard I work every day. I also want to thank my teammates, the coaching staff, Coach Liam Rosenior, Sports Director David Weir, and everyone around the team. They see me every day; they know who I am and how I work. Sometimes, my words can be misunderstood, especially by those who don’t know me well. However, one thing is certain: I have the utmost respect for Strasbourg, for Alsace, for the Meinau, for our supporters, for my teammates, and for the entire club. On Saturday, I will be supporting the team as a fan, 200%.”
