New signings aim to make an impact, especially in attacking roles. Several players have made a strong start in the 2025/26 Premier League season, but who has scored the most goals so far?

Here’s a ranking of the top-scoring new signings in the Premier League this season.

Nick Woltemade – Newcastle (5)

Newcastle needed their top summer signing to perform after losing Alexander Isak to Liverpool for a record £125m. While Isak has struggled at Liverpool with only one goal, Woltemade has quickly become a standout at St James’ Park.

The tall German has scored five goals in the Premier League and added two more in the League Cup and Champions League. Despite a costly own goal in the recent Tyne-Wear derby, Woltemade is proving to be a valuable addition for Newcastle, even at a record fee.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin – Leeds United (5)

Leeds United signed Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer from Everton. He faced injuries and form issues at Everton, scoring only three league goals last season.

Now at Leeds, the 28-year-old has already scored five goals. He has found the net in his last four matches, with the Leeds coach hinting at a potential England recall. Calvert-Lewin last played for the national team in July 2021.

Bryan Mbeumo – Manchester United (6)

Manchester United invested over £200m to revamp their attack last summer, bringing in Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, and Bryan Mbeumo.

After a standout season at Brentford, where he scored 20 goals, Mbeumo has proven to be a great addition, scoring six league goals and seven across all competitions. He is the top scorer for Manchester United this season.

Hugo Ekitike – Liverpool (7)

Hugo Ekitike leads the new signings in goals this season for the Premier League. While much attention went to the signings of Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak, Ekitike has been Liverpool’s standout recruit.

He scored on his debut in the Community Shield and found the net in his league debut as well.

With back-to-back braces in recent weeks, Ekitike has reached 10 goals in all competitions, solidifying his role as Liverpool’s key attacker.
