Tottenham Hotspur faces ongoing injury challenges.
The Evening Standard reports that Tottenham’s situation took a downturn after their loss to Nottingham Forest, with injuries continuing to impact the team.
One slight positive is that Randal Kolo Muani managed to play against Slavia Prague and Forest after overcoming a fitness issue. However, the ongoing injuries are still affecting team selection and performance. Manager Thomas Frank is trying to manage player minutes while hoping for improved news that hasn’t come yet.
Additionally, Destiny Udogie’s injury is significant, as the left-back will be sidelined for the rest of the year due to a hamstring injury sustained during the Newcastle match.
Initially, it was thought he would be out for a short time, but further assessments now have his return set for January. This absence leaves Spurs without one of their key wide defenders during a challenging schedule, limiting rotation options and making the left side of the defense weaker.
Dominic Solanke’s return date remains unclear.
