Daniel Farke has expressed confidence in Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin returning to the England squad.

Calvert-Lewin found the net for the fifth consecutive Premier League match on Saturday, helping Leeds secure a 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Elland Road. This win puts Leeds six points clear of the relegation zone, with Calvert-Lewin playing a key role.

The 28-year-old joined Leeds from Everton on a free transfer during the summer, revitalizing his career after scoring only three league goals in 2024/25.

Farke believes that if Calvert-Lewin maintains his impressive form, a recall to the national team is possible. He last represented England in 2021.

“I’m very pleased,” Farke said about Calvert-Lewin’s performance.

“He’s definitely a top player for us. I have rated him highly since the day he arrived.”

“The statistics speak for themselves. His current form is exceptional. For me, he’s one of the best English strikers in the league.

“He has shown his quality when fit, and right now he is on track to be a top player for Leeds United.”
