Morgan Rogers celebrated a significant win for Aston Villa after their 2-1 victory over Manchester United.

Aston Villa is now just three points away from the top of the Premier League after a challenging match at Villa Park. Rogers played a key role, scoring both goals for the home team.

In the first half, Villa struggled, but Rogers changed the game with a stunning goal just before halftime. He cut inside from the left and placed a perfect shot into the far corner.

However, Manchester United quickly equalized. Just after Rogers’ goal, Matheus Cunha took advantage of a mistake by Matty Cash to score right before the half-time whistle.

Villa came back stronger in the second half, and the winning goal came just before the hour mark. Similar to his first goal, Rogers moved inside and struck the ball past Senne Lammens.

Unai Emery’s squad managed to hold on for the win, which is crucial for them. Villa is now in third place, just three points behind Arsenal, the league leaders.

“It’s massive. Every game matters, especially against a team like United,” Rogers told Sky Sports.

“They are tough opponents, and we’ve not had much success against them recently, so we wanted to change that. We’re very pleased with the three points.”
