Manchester United and AS Roma are reportedly in discussions about a potential transfer for Joshua Zirkzee during the January window.
The forward is linked with leaving Old Trafford after struggling to make an impression since his £36.5 million (€42.5m) arrival from Bologna in 2024.
Since joining the Red Devils, Zirkzee has netted only four goals and has become less involved, starting just three Premier League matches this season.
Transfer Talks Progressing for Joshua Zirkzee and Roma
Fabrizio Romano states that Roma has prioritized Zirkzee as their main target for January and is making progress on personal terms with the 24-year-old.
The Italian club aims to sign the Netherlands international quickly, but Manchester United has not yet determined if they will allow him to leave.
Several key United forwards are currently unavailable due to the African Cup of Nations or injuries. Bruno Fernandes is sidelined after leaving a recent match against Aston Villa at halftime, while Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo are with the Cameroon and Ivory Coast national teams.
