Mohamed Salah scored a last-minute goal as Egypt started their Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 2-1 victory over Zimbabwe.

The seven-time champions needed to come from behind to secure a win on Monday evening.

After Prince Dube scored for Zimbabwe in the 20th minute, Egypt was behind at halftime. However, Manchester City striker Omar Marmoush equalized in the second half, and Salah’s late goal clinched the match.
