Tottenham to Provide Manager Thomas Frank with £150m for January Transfers
This season, Tottenham Hotspur’s forwards have struggled to deliver consistent performance under Thomas Frank.
Dominic Solanke has had limited appearances this season as he is recovering from ankle surgery he had in early October. Before his surgery, he only played twice as a substitute.
Randal Kolo Muani, who joined the team on deadline day, has yet to score in the Premier League, leaving Richarlison to take on the majority of the goal-scoring responsibility. Recently, Richarlison has been in form, netting five goals in the last eight matches. He leads the club with eight goals across all competitions, but given his history of injuries and inconsistency, Frank cannot depend on him alone throughout the season.
The squad has several pressing issues that need to be resolved in January, especially the striker position. FC Porto’s Samu Aghehowa is being considered as a potential target; he nearly signed with Chelsea in 2024.
