Manchester United defender Ayden Heaven will reportedly decline an international offer from Ghana as he aims to represent England.
The 19-year-old qualifies for Ghana through his grandparent and the team has been watching his progress.
Ghana hoped to convince Heaven to join their national team, similar to how Antoine Semenyo represents them.
However, as reported by BBC journalist Simon Stone, Heaven prefers to play for England and has already been part of the England setup up to the under-20 level.
The centre-back made a strong impact in Manchester United’s 1-0 victory over Newcastle, earning the man of the match award in only his fifth Premier League start.
Ayden Heaven won 100% of his duels, completed 94% of his passes, made 8 clearances and committed 0 fouls in Man United’s 1-0 victory against Newcastle.

In addition to Heaven, Ghana is also focusing on convincing Crystal Palace striker Eddie Nketiah to join their team.
Nketiah has previously rejected Ghanaian approaches to play for England, but after earning just one friendly cap in 2023, he remains eligible for Ghana and is reportedly considering the switch.
