Antoine Semenyo has been a standout player in the Premier League this season.

He has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 16 matches for AFC Bournemouth during the 2025/26 season.

Semenyo has built on his performance from previous seasons, with a total of 19 goals over the last two campaigns.

This season kicked off strongly for him, starting with two goals against Liverpool at Anfield, and he is now being linked with several top clubs in England.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur have all shown interest in Semenyo.

Recent updates suggest his future will be clearer as the January transfer window approaches.

Chelsea was the first team to withdraw their interest, with both Manchester clubs now seen as the leading candidates for his transfer.

TalkSPORT reports that a move to Manchester City will be finalized within the next 48 hours.

This would conclude his successful stint on the South Coast, having joined from Bristol City for £10 million in January 2023.

Negotiations have been positive regarding payment structures, as City aims to activate the £60 million release clause held by Bournemouth.

Semenyo has also reportedly verbally agreed on personal terms with the club as he looks to advance his career.

Bournemouth is set to face Chelsea away tomorrow, which could be Semenyo’s final game for the club. He aims to leave a strong impression to show Chelsea what they might miss.

For City, Semenyo will enhance their already strong attacking options, joining players like Jeremy Doku, Savinho, Omar Marmoush, Phil Foden, and Rayan Cherki.
