Manchester United players have been making a mark at other clubs recently.

Scott McTominay stands out, having had a remarkable 2024/25 season with Napoli, where he was named Serie A MVP as they clinched the title.

Dean Henderson, the former United goalkeeper, was pivotal for Crystal Palace last season. He saved a penalty from Omar Marmoush in the FA Cup final, helping them defeat Manchester City 1-0 at Wembley.

Anthony Elanga played a significant role for Nottingham Forest last season, helping them secure European football. He made a £55 million transfer to Newcastle United this summer.

The trend of ex-United players thriving continues this season.

Marcus Rashford is performing well at FC Barcelona, on loan from United, contributing six goals and nine assists across all competitions.

Antony had an impressive loan spell at Real Betis last season and has carried that success into this season with eight goals and four assists.

Another player making waves away from United may be on the way back to the club.

According to BBC Sport, Sheffield Wednesday will lose full-back Harry Amass as his loan deal has come to an end.

Amass, 18, featured in 21 league matches for the Owls and scored one goal. He also received consecutive Player of the Month awards in November and December.

However, Amass’s future might still lead him away from United, as several clubs in the EFL Championship are keen on him.

With Ruben Amorim’s recent dismissal at United, there may be an opportunity for Amass to gain first-team experience, especially with Under-18’s coach Darren Fletcher named interim manager for their upcoming Premier League match against Burnley.
