Since joining Barcelona, he has done well, scoring six goals and providing nine assists.
Following Amorim’s sacking as United manager, some believe Rashford may have a future at the club.
According to The Sun, the decision to dismiss Amorim is not expected to change the club’s view on Rashford.
The club reportedly decided on Rashford’s loan rather than Amorim himself.
This also applies to former teammates like Andre Onana, Jadon Sancho, and Rasmus Hojlund, who are currently on loan at various clubs such as Trabzonspor, Aston Villa, and Napoli respectively. They too are not likely to return to Old Trafford.
Rashford seems revitalized in Spain. With Barcelona contending for league titles and Champions League glory, it’s likely he is content with remaining in the country.
