Liverpool manager Arne Slot has stated that Arsenal has no weaknesses as both teams get ready to face each other in the Premier League.
The Gunners will host Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night, aiming to challenge the reigning champions.
Arsenal is currently on a seven-match winning streak across all competitions and holds a six-point lead at the top of the league prior to the match.
Slot praises Arsenal ahead of Liverpool match
During his pre-match press conference, Slot acknowledged the strengths of Mikel Arteta’s team and praised them as worthy leaders in the Premier League.
“What’s their main strength? That’s a good question! Their strength is that they have many strengths and seem to lack weaknesses,” he said.
“They rarely concede goals, can score from open play and set pieces, and have effective strategies for building up play. They’re a complete team.”
“For these reasons, I believe they deserve to be in first place this season.”
When asked what a victory would mean for his team’s confidence, Slot said: “It would be significant because winning against such teams shows we can compete in the FA Cup and Champions League. We’ve already beaten Arsenal at home and have other strong wins this season.”
“We know this game will be special for them, so we need to be fully prepared. They have a positive atmosphere around them right now, while we have faced challenges, including conceding a late goal last match. I believe everyone is eager for this game.”
