Trinity Rodman is back in training camp with the United States national team for the first time in nine months.

She is part of the 26-player January camp roster announced by coach Emma Hayes on Thursday. The team will meet in Southern California for friendly matches against Paraguay on January 24 and Chile on January 27.

Rodman had limited playtime in 2025 due to back and knee injuries but was significant in the U.S. gold medal win at the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Hayes has assembled a young squad for the January camp, featuring four players who will make their senior-team debuts: forwards Maddie Dahlien and Reilyn Turner, and midfielders Riley Jackson and Sally Menti.

At just 23, Rodman has the most caps (47) and goals (11) of anyone on the USWNT roster.

Except for Rodman, all players on the roster are signed to National Women’s Soccer League teams. Rodman’s contract with the Washington Spirit has expired, and a new deal was blocked by league commissioner Jessica Berman for not aligning with league rules.

The players’ association has filed a grievance over this issue, which remains unresolved.

This is the USWNT January camp roster by position, including each player’s club and caps/goals. No NJ/NY Gotham FC players, including veteran USWNT star Rose Lavelle, are available because of their commitment to the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in England. Some potential players under contract to European teams are also missing from the U.S. roster, including Lindsey Heaps and Naomi Girma.
