Wolves are considering selling Jorgen Strand Larsen this month, with interest from other Premier League clubs.
Wolves successfully kept Strand Larsen in the summer, turning down several offers from Newcastle United.
The highest bid was about £55m, but Wolves are now open to selling the Norwegian player due to their challenging situation in the league.
Wolves are currently at the bottom of the Premier League, having won only once this season. They have garnered just seven points, with five of those coming in their last three games. The team is 14 points away from safety.
With relegation on the horizon, Wolves are reportedly ready to let Strand Larsen go.
The BBC reports that they will consider offers for the 25-year-old, with Nottingham Forest showing interest. Previously, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton were linked to him. West Ham looked into signing him earlier this month but has since acquired Pablo Felipe and Taty Castellanos.
Strand Larsen scored 14 goals last season during his first year at Molineux.
This season, injuries have affected his performance, along with the departure of key player Matheus Cunha. He has netted three times in 20 appearances this season.
Although he has been on the bench for the last three games, Edwards stated this week that it does not imply a sale is near.
“I haven’t said that,” he mentioned before Wednesday’s draw at Everton.
“There will likely be interest in several of our players, especially given our position, as we have some really talented individuals.
“We’re not under pressure to make decisions that aren’t right for the club. None of us want to weaken the team now or in the future. Our goal is always to strengthen.”
