Gabriel Martinelli has apologized for trying to push injured Conor Bradley off the pitch during Arsenal’s goalless draw against Liverpool.

Martinelli attempted to move Bradley so play could continue, even though Bradley appeared to have a serious injury.

Bradley was taken off the field on a stretcher and left the North London stadium using crutches, prompting anger from his teammates.

After the match, several analysts commented on Martinelli’s behavior. Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane called him an ‘absolute disgrace’ during a discussion on Sky Sports.

Martinelli later took to social media to apologize for the incident and stated he had reached out to Bradley to express his regret.

“Conor and I have messaged and I have already apologized to him,” he wrote.

“I didn’t realize he was seriously injured in the heat of the moment.

“I want to sincerely apologize for my reaction. I wish Conor a speedy recovery.”

The draw left Arsenal unable to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to eight points, while Liverpool remains in fourth place.
