Marc Guehi has joined Manchester City, calling it the best club in England.
The club announced Guehi’s transfer from Crystal Palace, with the England international signing a contract until 2031.
City signed Guehi to strengthen their defense amid injuries to several players, including Ruben Dias, John Stones, and Josko Gvardiol.
The fee for Guehi is £20 million plus add-ons, and his contract was set to expire this summer.
He almost signed with Liverpool last summer, but the deal failed at the last minute. However, he has no regrets, emphasizing his excitement about joining Manchester City.
“I am really happy and incredibly proud to be a Manchester City player,” Guehi said at his unveiling.
