Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has dismissed any rumors regarding Enzo Fernandez leaving the club in the January transfer window.

The midfielder has been linked to Real Madrid and PSG after a strong start to the season.

The 25-year-old has been essential for Chelsea, creating a strong partnership in midfield with Moises Caicedo.

Rosenior addresses Chelsea transfer rumors about Fernandez

In a press conference before Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League match against Pafos, Rosenior stated: “It means nothing to me. When you are a world-class player, speculation is part of the game and you cannot control it.

“Enzo has been outstanding and he surprised me positively; especially with his performance on Saturday, covering so much ground even while he was ill.

“He is a Chelsea player, very important to me, and I hope for a successful relationship now and in the future.”

Fernandez may not play against Pafos due to illness, but Estevao Willian, Jamie Gittens, and Malo Gusto are back and available for selection. Tosin Adarabioyo is out with a hamstring injury.
