Mikel Arteta suggested that Ethan Nwaneri might need to find another club for more playing time after Arsenal‘s victory against Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal continued their unbeaten streak in the tournament with a 3-1 win at San Siro on Tuesday night, featuring two goals from Gabriel Jesus and a late goal by Viktor Gyokeres.
“I’m very proud of the team,” Arteta said to Amazon Prime after the match. “We said before the game that we needed a special performance, and we delivered. To achieve this at the San Siro against one of Europe’s top teams is remarkable,”
“Our goal was to be better than them. They manage their games effectively, and we were aware we had to step up both on the field and with substitutions.”

Nwaneri did not play during the match, amid reports that Arsenal may loan him to Marseille in January.
When asked about the potential move for the young player, Arteta said: “I’m not certain. We will talk this week. He isn’t getting the playing time he needs at his age, so we need to figure out the best way forward.”
