Liam Rosenior expressed satisfaction with Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Chelsea played strongly, with goals from Estevao Willian, Joao Pedro, and an Enzo Fernandez penalty sealing the win against Crystal Palace.
The head coach noted his disappointment at not securing a third straight clean sheet but acknowledged the players’ “outstanding” effort throughout the match.
“Very pleased,” Rosenior told BBC Match of the Day. “This is always a tough venue. Crystal Palace are a solid team. The players’ performance was impressive.
“It’s frustrating not to have a clean sheet in the closing moments. I aimed for three in a row, and we had the chance, being 3-0 up against 10 men.
“However, there was plenty of good. We defended well, stayed organized, and were effective with our chances. The players deserve credit. We can improve our ball control, especially in the first half, but overall, it was a strong team performance.”
