Paul Scholes has raised concerns about Arsenal’s attacking players, stating that none of their forwards would make it into a Premier League Team of the Season.
Arsenal is currently four points ahead in the Premier League title race, but their campaign has faltered with three straight matches without a win.
While the team has the best defensive record in the league, doubts remain about their offensive capabilities.
Only three teams in the Premier League depend more on set-piece goals than Arsenal this season. The club’s top scorers, Viktor Gyokeres and Leandro Trossard, have only five goals each in the league.
On a recent episode of The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast, the former Manchester United midfielder mentioned that Arsenal is missing top-quality players in their attacking line.

“If you’re thinking of picking a team of the season and choosing the front four, none of the Arsenal players would make it,” Scholes said. “Look at past champions – Liverpool’s forwards were exceptional. Maybe Saka is the only one, but I don’t think he’s been outstanding. He hasn’t scored many goals or provided many assists this year.”
