Benjamin Sesko expressed his eagerness to learn from Manchester United teammate Casemiro, who is nearing the end of his contract with the club.
Casemiro will depart Manchester United when his contract ends in the summer, despite making a strong comeback under interim manager Michael Carrick.
Following an outstanding performance in the Manchester Derby last month, Casemiro played a significant role again as Manchester United secured their third consecutive win against Fulham under Carrick.
The Brazilian opened the scoring at Old Trafford and assisted Matheus Cunha for a second goal. Even though Fulham equalized late in the match, Sesko’s stoppage-time goal clinched another three points for Carrick’s team.
After the match, Sesko praised Casemiro’s contributions to the team in an interview with Sky Sports.
“He is an incredible player, a true legend. It’s great to play alongside him and also learn from his advice. His work rate is exceptional and he lifts the entire team. We are thankful to have him with us,” Sesko said.
