Arsenal is in discussions to acquire Hearts’ young player James Wilson on a loan deal.

Wilson made history last March by becoming Scotland’s youngest-ever debutant, breaking a 138-year-old record for the national team.

At just 18 years old, he has already played 45 senior matches for Hearts, scoring five goals, attracting attention from the Premier League.

Fabrizio Romano has indicated that Arsenal is looking to bring Wilson on loan with an option to purchase.

This season, Wilson has only played 78 minutes in the Scottish Premiership, but he might be moving from Scotland’s league leaders to England’s top team.

If the deal goes through, he would join Arsenal’s youth setup at Hale End, with the potential for a permanent move to North London.
