Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has stated that Bukayo Saka’s injury before the Leeds United match is “not too serious.”
The winger was removed from the lineup prior to the 4-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium after he injured himself during the warm-up.
After leaving the field discomforted, the 24-year-old was substituted by Noni Madueke, who contributed to both of the initial goals.
Saka’s availability for the upcoming match against Chelsea in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final is uncertain, though Arteta hasn’t ruled out the chance of him playing, pending further assessment.
“We have to wait,” Arteta said. “Today he seemed better, but we need to see how he reacts and make a decision.
“It doesn’t seem like a serious issue, but whether he can play tomorrow or this weekend, we will have to see.”
