📈 Power Rankings: Arsenal takes down Bayern, Inter makes a comeback

10. Porto ⬇️ (last week: 8)

Porto’s hopes for an unbeaten Primeira Liga season ended with a surprising loss to Casa Pia.

An own goal from Thiago Silva and a red card for William Gomes deepened Porto’s troubles.

9. Inter Milan 🆕

Inter Milan makes its return to the Power Rankings after winning four straight matches. They easily defeated Cremonese to stay at the top of Serie A and advanced to the Coppa Italia semi-finals by beating Torino.

Cristian Chivu’s team appears well-positioned for a domestic double.

8. Lyon ⬆️ (last week: 10)

Lyon has become the top-performing team in Europe, boasting 10 consecutive wins in all competitions.

They are perfect in 2026 so far, and goal difference is the only thing keeping them out of the Champions League spots in Ligue 1. New signing Endrick has boosted their form, scoring five times in five matches, including a stunning goal in a recent French Cup win against Stade Leval.

Real Madrid hovers just above Lyon in the Power Rankings.

Alvaro Arbeloa’s squad managed to get a much-needed win against Rayo Vallecano. A last-minute penalty from Kylian Mbappe helped keep them in contention with La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Aston Villa faced a setback in their Premier League title ambitions.

Despite having a man advantage for the entire second half against Brentford, they lost 1-0 at home. Are Unai Emery’s players running out of energy?

After a tough game against Marseille, Lens rebounded well with two wins in a row.

The surprise title contenders just managed to beat Le Havre in league play and scored four goals away at Troyes in the French Cup. Can Lens keep up their title challenge against PSG?

4. Manchester City ⬆️ (last week: 5)

Manchester City had a mixed week but a crucial one. Pep Guardiola must have been frustrated after seeing his team lose a two-goal lead against Spurs, falling further behind Arsenal in the Premier League.

However, they bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Newcastle, securing a spot in the cup final against Arsenal next month. While Arsenal seeks four trophies, City is also in the hunt for multiple titles.

Lamine Yamal continues his impressive run, scoring in four straight matches. His goals helped Barcelona win against Elche (La Liga) and Albacete (Copa del Rey), marking five consecutive wins for the team.

Bayern Munich has dropped from the top spot in the Power Rankings after a slip in the Bundesliga.

The German champions couldn’t secure a win for the second consecutive league match, managing only a draw against Hamburg. Their lead has been cut to just six points.

An impressive 4-0 victory over Leeds United has extended Arsenal’s lead in the Premier League. Kai Havertz also contributed by scoring against former club Chelsea, sending Arsenal to the Carabao Cup final.
