Bruno Fernandes emphasizes the need for Manchester United to build on their recent win against Spurs and aim to extend their winning streak under interim manager Michael Carrick.
Fernandes scored in the second half at Old Trafford on Saturday, adding to the lead that Bryan Mbeumo established in the 38th minute.
This victory marked United’s fourth consecutive win in the Premier League, but Fernandes stresses the importance of achieving a fifth win to maintain their momentum. It’s been two years since the team last won five straight matches.
“Winning boosts our confidence,” he stated after the match, speaking to TNT Sports.
“It’s crucial for us to stay focused and not lose sight of our goals. While it feels good now, we need to keep pushing forward.”
