Following a full midweek schedule, it’s time for another edition of our Premier League Team of the Week.
Goalkeeper: Jose Sa – Wolves

Wolves managed to secure a point against Nottingham Forest, mainly due to Jose Sa’s efforts. He made 10 saves at the City Ground and successfully claimed three high balls to ease pressure. Sa truly earned his clean sheet.

Right-back: James Justin – Leeds

James Justin delivered a strong performance as Leeds came back from two goals down to draw against Chelsea. He made a crucial last-man tackle and won 10 out of 13 defensive duels, along with five clearances.

Centre-back: James Hill – Bournemouth

James Hill has been impressive for Bournemouth lately. In their victory at Everton, he made 13 clearances and won all of his ground duels (4/4), as well as eight aerial duels. Hill also provided the assist for Amine Adli’s winning goal, marking his third assist in just 10 league appearances.

Centre-back: Ibrahima Konate – Liverpool

After a slow start this season, Ibrahima Konate has regained form for Liverpool. He excelled in his physical matchup against Sunderland’s Brian Brobbey during the game at The Stadium of Light.

As he has not signed a new contract, he might leave in the summer, which would be a significant loss for the team.

Left-back: Rayan Ait-Nouri – Manchester City

Rayan Ait-Nouri continued his strong performance after impressing at Anfield. He confidently pushed forward in Manchester City’s victory over Fulham while also maintaining a solid defensive presence. With Nico O’Reilly moving into midfield, Ait-Nouri is getting more playing time, which has been beneficial for the team.

Midfield: Hannibal Mejbri – Burnley

Hannibal Mejbri had an energetic outing, highlighted by a strong goal that helped spark Burnley’s comeback against Crystal Palace. He was central to Burnley’s efforts despite facing tough challenges from the home team.

Midfield: Nico O’Reilly – Manchester City

Nico O’Reilly continues to impress. Pep Guardiola has emphasized that O’Reilly is a midfielder, and he showcased this by excelling in the midfield against Fulham, scoring stylishly at the Etihad. His talent and adaptability suggest an England call-up could be on the horizon.

Midfield: Florian Wirtz – Liverpool

Florian Wirtz was the standout player as Liverpool ended Sunderland’s unbeaten home streak. He was active throughout the match, finding space in critical areas, even striking the post in the first half. While he needs to adapt to the league’s physical demands, his quality is clear.

Right-wing: Jayden Bogle – Leeds

Jayden Bogle played a vital role in Leeds’ comeback at Chelsea. He earned a penalty for Lukas Nmecha and assisted Noah Okafor for the equalizer.

Left-wing: Antoine Semenyo – Manchester City

Antoine Semenyo has made an immediate impact since joining Manchester City. He contributed with another goal and assist, marking seven goal involvements in eight matches for the team. His performance against Bournemouth shows his potential to rise further in a City jersey.

Forward: Jorgen Strand Larsen – Crystal Palace

Even though Crystal Palace lost, Jorgen Strand Larsen stood out with a remarkable performance. In his home debut, he scored twice before the team fell to Burnley. The pressure is on him given his transfer fee, but he showed signs of his potential impact at the club.
