Mikel Arteta stated that Arsenal‘s strong defense is key to winning games following their latest victory.

While the early four goals captured attention, Arteta focused on the team’s defensive efforts.

He highlighted the team’s commitment to defending, even with a significant lead, marking their 22nd clean sheet of the season across all competitions.

“It’s a big number [22 clean sheets] at this stage, and it serves as a foundation for winning games,” he said during the post-match press conference.

“Even when we are 4-0 up, all 10 players are sprinting back, showing the desire needed to compete.”

“Tonight’s excitement is for now. Tomorrow, we shift our focus to Wolves, knowing it will be a tough match in the Premier League. We need to keep pushing.”
