Bayern Munich is open to letting Kim Min-jae leave this summer, with interest from Premier League clubs.

The South Korean defender has lost his starting position this season after Jonathan Tah joined from Bayer Leverkusen last summer.

Min-jae has played in only 10 league matches during the 2025-26 season, and Bayern is willing to consider offers at the end of the season.

BILD reports that Bayern’s sporting director, Max Eberl, has updated Min-jae’s representatives about the club’s position. While the defender seems happy in Germany, he may rethink his situation if appealing offers come in.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the 29-year-old, as they aim to strengthen their central defense.

Since his move from Napoli in 2023 for €50 million, Min-jae has made 102 appearances for Bayern, making him the most expensive Asian footballer in history.

He previously played a key role in helping Napoli win the Serie A title and received the league’s Best Defender Award.
