However, he will not play tonight against Benfica due to a knee injury.
The nearest challengers to Mbappe are Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane. Gordon, playing for Newcastle, has scored 10 goals in the Champions League this season. Notably, he netted four goals in one half against Qarabag during the play-off round.

Gordon has now become Newcastle’s all-time leading scorer in the Champions League, surpassing Alan Shearer’s record of 7 goals. Interestingly, he has only managed three goals in the Premier League this season.
