Pep Guardiola provided an injury update on Erling Haaland ahead of Manchester City’s match against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
The striker missed last Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Leeds United due to what Guardiola described as a “little injury”.
City hopes to have Haaland back as they aim to narrow the gap to league leaders Arsenal to two points.
Haaland injury status before Man City vs Forest
Guardiola did not confirm whether Haaland would start against Forest but mentioned he is feeling “much better”.
The team did not train on Monday, so a decision regarding Haaland’s participation will be made on Tuesday.
“He feels much better but yesterday we didn’t train. Today, we are, so we will decide after that,” he said.
“We will do the same for Nico [O’Reilly] after the training.”
